Last weekend was a crazy one.
Reported for work at 11am on sat for each assigned event den everyone gathered at ritz carlton and started work (set-up) at 2am till ard 6.30am. After which, everyone of us went home to clean-up and rest before reporting to e venue at 11plus for rehearsals and preparation for e show tat night. It was e gala dinner in celebration of Jean Yip 25th anniversary and the show was filled with high entertainment values as there were presentations, musical and fashion show to dazzle e invited guests.
At such a high profile show, Desmond Koh hosted e nite's program with great professionality. Celebs like Darren Tan, Jeff Wang etc were spotted at e dining table too. After e show, while e guests return to their cozy home to rest, we got to tear-down and load everything into the lorries...and our work ended at 2am in e mornin before we could all knock-off.
The lesson learnt for me is: bring comfortable shoe along next time if i have to wear formal heels again. Cos wearing a whole day of heels really hurts a lot..esp when i wore it to do tear-down too. Luckily, all e full-time crews got a 2days off to rest after that. It was a great experience after all=)
