E YEP China Trip to ShangDong, Qing Dao was a memorable one considering that it was my first time in my entire life taking an air flight to a place where e temperature was as low as below 10*C...Besides the temperature different, i found that their bought-up was also very different from sg children. Maybe its becos of the one-child policy in China and their living conditions there which made me felt so much for them, especially Sun Xin.

*Credits to Josephine and her camera =)
She is a 10yrs old girl who captured our attention during our look-out for our documentary main subject in her primary school, Liu Gou Chuang Xin Xiao Xue. She is a top student in her level and she fits wat we were looking for. The whole production was able to finish shooting in about a week because of their truth, faith and helpfulness. I dun think we can ever do that in sg.

However, I seriously do not like their toilets and their traffic. Be sure to prepare ur own tissue or toilet paper, hold ur breath and after finishing ur business, do remember never to throw e used tissue or toilet paper into the bowl. Instead, throw it into the basket or bin next to it or else, u'll choke e bowl.
Coming to their traffic, do not choose to cross the road whenever possible or cross it at ur own risk. Even if there is traffic light, you still need a lot of courage to make e first step becos the vehicles can just horn their way through! Wat e hell are those traffic lights in China for??

Then in Shanghai, bad experience..bad experience..bad experiences...
The train ride(their MRT) was forever full and ppl hv to squeeze their way through to get in and get out. The worst thing was e fact that it is a perfect chance for molesting to occur as ppl inside were all cramped together like sardine.
Next was the experience of getting drunk at star east pub. We were decidin whether to go k or pub and in e end, as we were near e pubs area, e 7 of us went in to tis particular one. The vodka lime made me so giddy and i felt like puking, so i squated in one of e toilet cubicle until my friends came in to help me out. Although i was drunk, i'm still very clear of wat i did and so i'm very sure i did not embarrass myself out there...
The worst experience was going for a hairdo there. At first, they told u a reasonable price then as they start on ur hairdo, the reasonable price went up becos of the chemicals added to ur hair..Some of my friends even hv the hairstylist telling them the price after pouring e chemicals. And in the end, we even hv to call our lecturer down from e hotel to pay for some of us first. Lesson learnt: never to go for hairdos in Shanghai.

After missing the flight to Qingdao on the first day, we had a whole day of tea at the beijing airport.
