Watched 2 gd movies this wk:
1.) Love Wrecked ***1/2
Besides Lindsay Lohan, i think i'm beginning to like her too. Amanda Bynes =)
Seriously, i din figure out tat she's e one in "She's e man" and "Love wrecked" until a much later time..perhaps its becos she looks much slimmer and feminine in "Love wrecked"..i like her in her white dunno-wat-hat and e white spaghetti top.
ok, about e storyline, very fantasy-like and rather stupid in a funny way..ahaha.
but its very interesting to see how e two women would deal with each other in order to fight for their idol's (jason Masters) attention on a deserted island tat in fact, is not.
and its very not clever (dumb) of jason to not notice people wind-surfing and horse-riding across him.
However, it's still a good movie to watch n de-stress.
2.) The Devil wears PRADA ****1/2
Woohoho~ i like a particular sequence of scenes very much.. e scene which shows Anne Hathaway in different outfits as she walks pass a "blocking" each time..be it a vehicle, e underground tunnel or e pillar of e building. Tat is definitely a much effective way to show a brand new her as e days pass. Their dialogues are also very cleverly written..esp for both the job interview scenes..
Meryl Streep's expressions were professionally-expressed..esp from her pair of eyes..
However, this movie has set me thinking whether those dark dirty secrets of e fashion industy r true..
Overall, it's a very worthy movie to catch. =D
